Fond du Lac BMX cancels Thursday 8/23 race:
We received a note late last night that Fond du Lac was cancelling it's Thursday night race because the track is waterlogged and we wanted to pass it along to anybody who was thinking about traveling tomorrow night.

We'll have a better sense by tomorrow morning as to wether we'll attempt to run gate practice or not.

We appreciate your patience ... and we sympathize with all of our friends in the Kenosha area, as well as those in the Western portions of the state that have suffered from the recent flooding in the area.

Please take care of yourselves -- and we'll get right back to racing just as quick as we can.

Suffering from these rain drenched non-racing days too? Well, I've decided to look back at the season so far and enjoy the memories. One of which deserves a big thank you. During the State Championship Qualifier I won a pair of Sock Guy socks in the 50/50 raffle. These socks sport the name of another fine company that is a major help to the sport and Milwaukee BMX, Sun Ringle. To Sun Ringle, the Sock Guy and all other contributers to Milwaukee, BMX THANK YOU for your support! Hopefully Kevin can help with some of the other names of those who have donated to the kids, the sport, and the track. You may not get acknowledged enough, but you are truely an asset to the sport. My son sure could have used those wheels Sun donated as some punk wrecked his current set while he was working out at school! But thats how the lottery works I guess. Again thank you folks for your support.
